I just started learning & getting interested in acquiring a rental property when this opportunity came up right in our backyard so we decided (semi-terrified!)

As my personal preferred metrics go, Columbus is the only place I have found that isn't terrifying in Ohio.

Luckily, the authorities were contacted before any real damage was done so all that occurred was a broken window, carpet damage, and a terrified tenant.We decided what was best was for the tenant to contact their renters insurance and for us to contact our homeowners insurance and mentioned that we will have the window replaced as soon as we can.Is there anything else we can do in this situation?
