I know I can get one in a single semester given the courses I have, but I need to find a state school that will accept me full-time just for a minor.

We live in a university town making September and to a lesser extent, May, our bigger lease start months.That said, January is not terribly bad for 1-2bdrm units in or close to "universityville" ... it common that after the fall semester folks decide they want out of residence, or do not like their current roommates.

Now, the easiest time to find a tenant will depend on where you are and to whom you are renting.viz.1) In our student properties (University town), the "big" months for commencing of new leases are May and September ... though there is a smaller "blip" in January at the beginning of the second semester.2) In our "family" units tend, leases tend to start in July or August - when the kids are out of school.3) For those properties in Québec, most folks play musical apartments on Moving Day /Fête du déménagement (July 01)

Not in a college town, so I wouldn't worry about semester change over.

My semester is almost over and I know my parents cant really stop me from doing it, but I also want them to understand that if I do jump ship it is not to fool around.

I only went to 2 semesters of community college.

I attended NC State for 2 semesters on an exchange program.

I am a college student majoring in Business Administration with 3 more semesters left (Graduate in Spring 2016). 

After all if they stay at a dorm they are paying by semester, twice a year.
