But to have a lender tell me "don't take so many write-offs," which just puts me in a worse financial position, and hence the lender in a worse position too, is just backward and counterproductive to the borrower and the lender.I agree with some of the reforms that were made, but looking at 1099 income and incentivizing the filers to not write off what they can/should and therefore have LESS money so they can borrow more is just plain dumb.

While there is huge demand for appraisers, the "reform" of the lending business a few years ago really hurt the appraisers.

Also with buildings essentially being disposable, and "reforming" only able to be done after 1990 something. does anyone have a plan for the investment when the usable life span begins to run out and vacancies begin to increase?
