Nevada will be voting in November to legalize marijuana usage for any one over 18 years of age and looking at Colorado and the HUGE tax/business benefits it has brought to them, i was thinking if this passes it is a potential opportunity for huge growth.

The real-estate market seems to be doing well right now, perhaps due to the high amount of people moving to colorado since the legalization of marijuana.

@Mindy Jensen is the population explosion attributed to the legalization of Marijuana or other factors... in your opinion? 

Unless you’re ultra high risk or in the marijuana business or some other reason that would cause you to be un-bankable...

Tenant could stop paying rent, bring in 50 pets, grow marijuana, smoke, invite all their friends and family to stay in the unit and you could not evict.  

They planted marijuana in the back yard, this is the one that really made me lose all the sympathy.

And much should we worry about potential recreational marijuana crackdowns and how that affects CO?

A couple of years ago I wanted to sell a low income property next to a house where the people smoke marijuana everyday in their front yard.
