I have been thinking about real estate IMMENSELY for 2 weeks straight now...doing nothing but reading ALOT blogs.

The knowledge they have is immense and they were all nice and very open to me.

The wholesale industry is covered immensely by books, and podcasts.

I am only doing this because this is a friend of mine of 20+ years and I trust him immensely.

I've been reading articles here for a few months now (which have been an immense help), and I've decided to finally put my hat in the ring!

I will throw my two appraisal cents in with everybody else:1) I would use the "Subject To" appraisal as a benchmark and research the market myself to really understand what's going on, markets can change immensely in 3-6 months; especially if it's a seasonal market.2) Appraisals rely primarily on HISTORICAL data.

Reading and interacting in the forums will be of immense benefit to you.Beyond that also get out to some of the local investor events we have here.

Their seems to be an immense wealth of information on here and I am excited to learn every bit I can.I have absolutely zero experience in Real Esate but I do know that this is the way to go if I want to build wealth and retire early.

College is a blast and I enjoyed myself immensely.

So I took the plunge and they accepted my offer.I am getting ready to start my adventure in investing and property managing.This site has already been immensely helpful and I think I have read the 5 or 6 most recent pages on the "renters" forum.
