This is where it gets down to cracking the nut, is there a sewer comming through, any factories proposed down the street, any external obsolesence that has not been disclosed, rezonning issues...if I see several for sale signs in a neighborhood I'm concerned!

I think that would be an extreme situation.Like Jonathon wrote above, I'd probably want to make sure I did not run afoul of any brokerage/real estate commission laws as I can only assume those would be much harsher to deal with than the typical code enforcement matter of putting out signs.

I would think that it would make a difference in Orlando, but I don't know the market.This is a good example of External Obsolesence and it will effect your price, but both ways, when you buy and when you sell, the "margin" may be the same.While I wouldn't buy it (or live there) the suggestion to buy it as well is a good one.

This will be a race to the finish line, we're in the lead as "economic serfs" by at least a neck, but losing ground fast against external nations chock-full of new customers for non-US goods.
