The general public needs a governing body to oversee this stuff to protect the public's interests.

I do not want to ignore real maintenance requests from him (as it is my job to react to those) but if I could I would block his number completely.

I'd argue that we've come too far and over reacted to the few instances where lenders illegally foreclosed back in the day. 

Now you also loose your homeowners insurance because no body wants to underwrite!  

@Minnae Chabwera Every area is going to have it's pros and cons and @Amy H. is right, you can always find a deal, but as a long distance investor you unfortunately will have a more difficult time quickly reacting to new deals than people who are on the ground in that area.

So I'd suggest that you put some weight on and grow out some facial and/or body hair.
