Richmond vs Hampton Roads

Hello!

So I am debating on whether a good rental property investment would be best in Richmond or Hampton Roads.

I know of some wonderful pockets that would suit my needs in the Hampton Roads area, but a good friend has been putting ear worms in my ear with regards to Richmond.

This would be a first, any suggestions?

@Minnae Chabwera I live, invest, and own a property management company in Virginia Beach. Though, I may seem bias, I am for so many reasons. Hampton Roads is home to so much that makes it a stable area to invest in real estate. I personally only work the Southside of HR which comprises of Virginia Beach, Norfolk, Chesapeake, Portsmouth (Suffolk too, but too far for my reach). I'm happy to give you 1000's of reasons why, but to sum it up we have a large military population, beaches, and colleges; all of which have stable performance, return, and appreciation.
