I would want to see all of that before making a decision.With respect to the deal, $35K per door is a very cheap price these days, so it could be a good price.

Replacing a toilet can be relatively cheap but wasting water via a leaky toilet can add up to thousands of dollars in costs.

As for Peru you can find really really cheap land but not in the areas where there is a lot of tourism or big expat communities.

Living for very cheap/free takes time.I'm at the point where if I rent out my main house, it will cash flow positive.

The lake was nice at Stillwater - we would ride snowmobiles on it when it would freeze solid - and Pocono Farms had a golf course that we would hunt golf balls on - but a lot of the houses were in sad states of disrepair, which is why we lived there - they were cheap.

Again, plenty of bad agents out there over charging and under delivery, I say good riddance to them.

These people will let your property fall apart, repair they will go cheap and Capex you dont want to know.
