Got a call from the OKC police Department couple of days ago saying that someone crashed into my rental.

At any point in time a cousin can move in that's just gotten home from jail, rocks fly through windows, apartments are trashed, police are routinely involved, and so on.

Talk with the local police and see what the issues are.

How about devoting some resources to clearing out the backlog of permits or having some more police to help catch real criminals?

It's poloiitcal and beyond the scope and spirit of these forums so let's not get off on that tangent and stay into solution.mode.There are many agencies that can be helpful, including municipalities, counties, police and fire, vector control (mosquitos, etc.) and animal control.

I want to know basically more about what people think about the area. its located right by a police station.

I am closing on a duplex in an up and coming area of Logan Heights just a few hundred feet from the train station (and a few blocks up from the police station lol), and it has been completely rehabbed from the ground up (not by me) so I have a perfect situation to view the cap ex timeline from the start, thanks for putting this post out there and giving me some ideas!
