BP family, quick question to an wholesaler / investor in Maricopa county, AZ.  How does one go about getting a code violation list from the county here?

I'm also open to purchasing the data if it's up to date & easily accessible somewhere online.

Any resources, reccomendations or referrals are appreciated.

Terry

@Terry Lee

I just received a list of code violations in Duval county, Florida.  Some of the things said above I find not to be true.  However, it may depend on the county or state.  If your county have this information online just call the code enforcement office and ask.  If someone gives you an attitude or something, call again, try to speak to someone else.  If it is "Public Information', you have a right to it.

If they do not have it online, call the county information office.  Tell them what you are looking, disregard who is upset, angry or didn't have breakfast, you are on a mission and this information is there for you to have.  It is that simple! You may need to fill-out some sort of public information request form and they might email the information to you within days.

I have done this more than once without any issue.  My only setback was in learning how and where to get it.  I can't give you legal or specific advice but it has worked for me... Wish you much luck!
