From what I've read thus far, REI authors touch on this subject in only the most general terms -- i.e. to evaluate a market, one should consider population growth, economic conditions, infrastructure, average cap rates, housing supply and demand, the legal environment, etc.

Do this on your own and than you can see the source of the leak and determine if you want to take a crack at it yourself.If it is only leaking when shower is on, it is more likely it is in the drain piping and not the supply but not necessarily.DO you have PVC?

My uncle even wants him to throw in the furniture to have it be available as a furnished rental.Because of this, the guy also knows someone that is selling a multi-unit place, and since my uncle is maintenance man for a bunch of people he knows many of the landlords in the area.
