Should I walk through a property with an inspector or a general contractor, or both?

So far I have 1099, Advertising & Marketing, bank charges & Fees, Capital Expenses (for remodels) Car & Truck, Contractor, depreciation, donations, Employee benefits, insurance, interest paid, inventory assets, job supplies, legal &professional services, loans/points, meals & entertainment, office expenses, Rent & lease, repairs & maintenance, salaries & wages, taxes & licenses travel, utilities.

Namely, I'm wondering what's the order for interviewing/hiring a general contractor vs. an architect vs. an interior designer. 

If you need any connections to contractors, insurance agents, title companies, appraisers, deals (off-market single families, duplexes, fully renovated turnkey properties, multifamily properties, buy and hold deals etc I have several deals that come across my desk each day), recourse and/or non-recourse lenders, my opinion on potential properties you are analyzing to buy etc I am more than happy to help you. 

On my other home I would like to start the house should be permitted and looking for licensed contractors that can give a fair bid and look for long term work.  

I'm interested in investing in the city (and surrounding areas) I last lived in and have a trusted realtor and a few contractors/handymen.

You would indeed have to remain in an extended option period throughout your contract or seek other termination points.

Looking for a reasonably priced designer to help with finishes and some PM (have a contractor but want another set of eyes). 

We asked a contractor, and the estimated cost is about 100K for such project.My question is that, if she go ahead with such remodel project, who much more rent can be generated?

The key now is to move forward with a clear action plan.Start by interviewing 3 contractors.
