Looking for a Contractor

I recently started purchasing homes and completed my 4th purchase.   My first house will be done soon and it was minor repairs so did not have a problem finding anyone to do the work.  On my other home I would like to start the house should be permitted and looking for licensed contractors that can give a fair bid and look for long term work.   Since we have a basement that needs to be finished I would like to do this the right way and not have any electrical, framing or plumbing issues.  Any referrals or guidance would be great.  The work would be done in the Decatur area.
