If you fish for deals w/I property managers you may have some luck.  

They all said they understood and tried to explain to the compliance dept. and their managers so my account could be unblocked.

@Chiane Martin the biggest challenge to doing Boarding Houses successfully is investing the required extra time.LTR - take the least amount of time, but time required increases as you go from Class A, to B, to C, to D.MTR - take more time than LTRSTR - take more time than MTRBoarding House - can take an insane amount of time to manage!

You already know how to manage and rent it, might as well keep it and enjoy the cash flow.

Honestly, as a RE agent, I worked mainly with military PCSers and didn't have a lot of opportunities to work with or build a portfolio of investors.

I wanted to invest passively without any active role, with an experienced general partner who can manage the deal from sourcing, to management, to exit.

Looking to do the BRRRR strategy to build my portfolio.

Bigger Pockets has a ton of resources on the process side of things to walk you through getting the unit ready, all the way into managing the property.

I am new to real estate investing but am interested in fix and flip projects and building a rental portfolio.
