You need to have them authorize you in writing typically for employer verification, but getting recent paystubs/bank statements suffices for me. 

A good starting place are the books available by BiggerPockets authors re: renting, first time landlord, etc.

However, I have found a lot of resources to be extremely helpful; particularly a book called The Book on Estimating Rehab Costs (It's by a BP author too). 

You might look in your city too, to see if there is a housing authority that offers homes or financing guarantees that can help cover closing costs or down payments.Outside of that you might look at FHA loans that only require 3.5% down payment.Live in the house a year and then repeat to build your portfolio.

I hope this pays out for all of my time and energy and helps me to expand.Anyway, when I registered the business in NV with Inc Authority, they set this up as 5 managers managed LLC and I made an amendment later to make me as manger and also added all 5 members as members(including me). 

You could easily call your local zoning authority and get clear on this as it is allowed in some areas. 

And has anyone dealt with the Worcester Housing Authority for their section 8 tenants?
