Okay, enough about me.Why I'm here: Fortunately, thanks to the Worldwide Web, no matter where I've been on my endeavors, I've always got a means of researching. 

In my area the local newspaper publishes foreclosure notices.  

If you want accurate pre foreclosure date- you can manually read Gwinnett Daily Post for the foreclosure advertising ( I forgot the day they publish it - you have to call them).

I hate to use the term, but...I don't need the capital immediately...and the interest income on this deal would be nice.We're a web design firm and truly don't need Class A office space....no client foot traffic, etc.

I also published a program titled The Ultimate Self Storage Marketing Guide - that includes 101 ways to market your facility and keep it full that you may want to look into.  

If you don't want to spend any money to start then start listening to the podcasts they're FREE and contain what a guru might charge tens of thousands of dollars for.There are also a couple of books published by BiggerPockets that cost about 1% of what that course costs, and can likely teach you everything you need to get started:http://get.biggerpockets.com/nomoneydown/http://get.biggerpockets.com/flippingbook/I'm not suggesting the guru's class is not a good one, but my advice is to get educated for less than $100 and spend the other $1,900 on marketing and/or deals.

When LinkedIn first came on the scene, it was a web-only site, so connecting up with individuals could be labor-intensive and require more steps than really were necessary to meet people on the site.
