You can always ask for a tax recert and challenge the assessment file a petition to the VAB value adjustment board and dispute assessment.If all of that fails start looking at investment properties in states like TN, LA, AL, GA, FL, these states in the South East can offer super low annual property taxes.

I'm looking for ready to assemble (RTA) that do not have any particle board or OSB.Found RTACabinets.com which seems interesting but I'd like to look at some in person if possible, maybe even LA County.Current quote from HD (Home Depot) for their ready made in inventory cabinets is $2600, those are particle board low grade cabinets.I'm going to bet Kevin Fox replies in this thread.

Prop tax's some of the lowest the country very low insurance stucco houses tile roofs and desert landscaping all lead to ease of maintenance over time compared to FLA which of course has all sorts of weather related issues that is detrimental to houses .. high prop tax and sky high insurance ( certain areas) But its also growing.. so there is that.
