I'm interesting in learning more about real estate and adding rental property or other types of RE investments to my portfolio.

Anyways you will need a job to get that so make sure you have something lined up and maybe live in a medium term rental with your friend until you have enough income to buy something, and learn how they are run.

Sometimes the 20 or 30 year of 'relationships' they reference as an item of value can in time evolve into a relationship of contractors, subs and suppliers, looking out for each other, not necessarily the builder or project owner interest.

What learning resources have you been studying?

Outside of real estate, I enjoy spending quality time with family, working out, getting active outside and listening to Bigger Pockets :)Excited to learn and connect with you all!

I guess I'm just learning more until I can fimd an equity partner for a deal of can save more capital. 

We have no idea what we are doing and I can’t wait to learn some tips and tricks from you all! 

Write it off in your head as a lesson learned on who not to call.  

Lawdy mercy, honey, come here and post and learn and share, but mostly, get on back in the bedroom & focus on that amazing man, not on house hacking. 

But you just don't learn enough, let alone have enough experience to to it correctly and successfully from just taking a guru seminar, or buying a mentorship.
