@Alex Jaime If you are looking A and B in $150-$350 your best bet with be on the east side of Salt Lake the purchase price will be higher but you'll be able to get some great tenants.

I could write pages here of all the different concerns, aspects and steps to take in becoming a Land Developer.Your best bet at this point is an educated willing partner who has the experience so that you don't fall into a money pit before you even begin to develop the property (ies).

My bet is that if you needed to get out of this condominium or decided that renting it was not economically viable you would be stuck with it for an extended period and/or you may have to sell at a potentially large loss.

If you and the seller can't have a meeting of minds in the middle, great you move onto the next one.FHA on MFR, especially with our older housing stock in the Bay Area, it's a giant unknown if you can even get the property until the appraisal is back.More generally your best bet for using FHA to buy a MFR in the Bay Area will be to go find something off market where you aren't in competition with multiple other buyers putting 30% down, etc.
