As far as contractors go, start looking up local ones and calling/interviewing, check out their job sites, and get an idea of their schedule for the next few months ahead.

After paying off the liens totaling $25K, he's still ahead of the game, though not as good as he thought.Bottom line is, liens follow the property, and if not paid, is on the new owner.

But you will get FAR more ahead in life by having a good character and living responsibly.

Though I feel like I’ve done my share of due diligence, I’ve gone ahead and set up an appointment with an attorney that I’ve met through my local REIA for a consultation that will cost me $250. 

Their relative assumed this was our cabin, so they clicked on it and found some horrible reviews - really bad.  

My question is, would it be a messy procedure if we still went ahead with this house with a specific clause that the tittle be cleared and leins be taken off, otherwise we dont close on it.
