A new law was recently passed so that being an "authorized user" on another persons credit card WILL NOT impact your credit or help you establish credit.

I can see doing that down the road when we are more established.

The college I attended did a similar project and hired out the development of almost 400 units to a known and respected developer from the area (this could be a critical component... he was known and very well established).

Right now I am in my learning stages and working to establish my business and finalize my plan.  

I'm guessing after 15 years, the business and owner has established credit, do you know why they are asking you to finance it?

Established agents usually work in much higher price points.

We have a private lender that my partner already has an established relationship with who has no problem buying the properties for standard hard money terms.

I am not currently in a position to use my own credit to acquire funds to start (currently have too much consumer debt, along with student loans and building our own home to be completed in June), so I am not sure exactly what type of business plan to establish.
