We recently ran into an issue whereby adding walls drew enough outside attention that our project got shut down and an engineer had to be brought in to provide drawings for the space (cost us $5K) even after the walls were already up!

As far as liquid assets I a currently working as a server at a restaurant and have managed to save up $3000.I was thinking that my dad and mom might be able to help me as they have higher credit scores than mine.I know my mom has good credit and my dad im not sure but they are willing to help me out if thats a good idea.What do you think?

Because they put in the necessary investments, the park was saved and those people whose homes were threatened where saved.That investment followed the typical path of raised rents and then a sale in less then three years for a 19.2% annual return.But.. the buyers (and current owners) are going to shut down the park and convert it to mixed family homes, so the threat is back.

There has also been an influx of young folks my age due to the fact that housing is far cheaper than Boston but we have access to the train, incredible restaurants and venues, music, arts, tons of colleges, etc.
