The most recent HAPCO newsletter had an article regarding "Taking Action Against Squatting".As @Chris K. alluded to, councilman David Oh has introduced Bill No. 170827 to instill an approach to dealing with squatters.

For the record, I am pretty much a "cash people", since I have very little leverage, but that is not because I think the leverage people are wrong - it's just not the approach I want to follow, for the most part.

This is a high level approach to protection. 

Currently lives in Connecticut, travels for training.It takes about 1-3 years on average to complete the designation program, some people taking 10 years.

You need to get comfortable approaching owners directly over the phone or in person.

This is like, the scary haunted house on the block 🤦‍♂️The question is, we don’t know how to figure out what we should try to get for it, and we don’t quite know how best to approach.

We have plenty of regulars to pay the bills, and my wife is getting a graphic design degree and will be transitioning to freelance employment in that field. 

When I was hired, I was told by management that there was no issue with my business. 1 year later I am approached by a new manager and was told that I had to close my business because it was a conflict of interest.

It would be better for her and you'd trust it was designed to charge a car.
