I checked out Punta Mita last year because there was so much talk about good deals but I unfortunately found a ghost town when I arrived, even in peak season.

@Derrick Craig In Sacramento, there were a lot of properties going in the mid to high 300's near the peak mainly TONS of new development.  

Also, I like having the option to not buy right away at what could be a peak.
