Go to a local meeting and get some guidance or better yet establish a relationship with a mentor.

I've been following this thread, and others, and wonder - amidst all those newbies who are looking for that get rich quick golden egg, there's some who choose to enter this Real Estate arena as a wholesaler without the full blinders, knowing it's a hard road (maybe not just how hard, granted, but knowing it's not an easy walk) and you need to get some contacts and teaching and mentors - how do the serious folk choosing wholesaling, wanting to use their time and skills to assist investors, how do they *not* get dismissed outright as we're all smushed into the same grouping just by using the word "wholesaling"?  

I’m thankful I had leaders that mentored me and showed me the benefits of compounding interest via TSP.

As a new agent, you'll be assigned a Mentor who overseas your 1st 3 transactions and shares in your commission. 

I am looking for anyone who is willing to help educate me or mentor in the area, before or when i get there!

This city is FULL of great contacts (contractors/wholesalers/agents/mentors) and but even more that are the opposite.

If your when western PA I’m also looking for a mentor or someone to jv with.

If I ambushed my first seller carry I would have missed out on an awesome 15yr relationship with someone that sold me more good properties, became my best private lender and more importantly a friend and mentor of sorts I view deals with and bounce ideas off of.
