If you cannot get a clean feeling with fresh paint, caulk, faucets,  maybe a new in stock vanity top from a box store, you may need an overhaul.  

We sold our house in November of 2018 and put everything in storage for 8 months while we traveled all over the USA while trying to figure out where the next stage of life should begin.

My question is, what kind of property would make me the most money in the long term, a housing unit or storage units? 

And I’ve been looking at investing to multi family homes but also self storage units.

Worst case at 5k you can’t get a house and Land for 5k typically or a different view at the time was worst case it’s a big storage building, even at the price (price is what u pay value is what u get) in that viewpoint it most certainly passed the test.

@Scott Marsh I saw an advertisement for an app that allows you to rent your land or garage for storage.

Booking cleaner for a wipe down (fresh purchase just finishing the renovation so won’t need a deep clean) 2 minutes and the last one cost me $30.1 day, 1 hour on my end (less but I’m too lazy to add up the minutes above), often 30 minutes or less of my VA’s time (if I’ve got too many listing at once I don’t post them myself), 2 hrs of my on-site guys time for the single set of grouped showings @ $30/hr.
