Storing someone else’s property on your property
Someone asked if they could store a boat under my overhang in the back yard. The concern that I have is, what happens if it gets damaged on my property. Is there a specific form I should fill out to protect myself? Or should we draw up an agreement and have it notarized? Thanks in advance for any information or suggestions you have.

An agreement might be okay but I would check with your insurance agent first. Seek their advice on the situation. I would also ask an attorney about the liability.
