. - The biggest benefit is all the designs have been architecturally reviewed, and speed of getting them ready to rent/sell.  2) Check with government authority on required roof pitch - the standard roof pitch on modular homes is significantly less than many cities require - You'll want to get that worked out with either the city or manufacturer ahead of time.
