I dont like traveling myself, so I'm asking.

While Americans are using somewhat less gas, the travel season is nearly here.It wouldn't take much to drive the prices up but IMO it is not likely to see prices decline.

Third, I want to set up a solid foundation for my future, so I can do things i want to do such as travel, retire early, etc.My goal in real estate right now for the short term is just to educate myself.

I've frequently considered rental properties, but never pulled the trigger, until now.For the past two years, I've traveled nearly weekly for work.

You seem to be on the opposite track - you keep adding cities, which require knowledge, teams and travel time.

I don't like open kitchens (or the big open space) as sound travels too easily into the surrounding spaces, I know others who love them. 

The population has been growing here year over year over the last decade, it is home to The Ohio State University which has over 50,000 students that live here along with those that visit, and it also holds a diverse range of young professionals and traveling nurses to fill the demand of the multiple business corporations and hospitals stationed here.

Excercise your rights.Unless I’m missing something local to you—entirely possible—there is no reason to warn, write a letter etc. you should know the law better than a random woman who says “she knows her rights” that’s just blowing smoke.

After taking the time to travel, visit the property (I'm an OOS investor), and the time I've put in on this, you would think out of respect and courtesy I would at least get an email back saying whatever their excuse was (decided they didn't want to sell/ Got a great offer they couldn't pass up, etc.)
