You can help research local charities for them to get shelter, clothes, food. 

An estimated 10,000 food vendors are operating on L.A.’s streets and sidewalks.

It cost $300 for a trash bin, 4 days for three laborers was about $1800, about $400 for gasoline for 2 vehicles and food for everyone.

Leaving old food and/or not having a clean place definitely leads to rodent issues.  

Take my advice with a grain of salt (I'm not an attorney or accountant) but I wouldn't personally worry about the LLC until you at least acquired a few properties with your partners.

We also dropped off food and Christmas things for them on Sunday mornings when we knew they were in church, but never told them, ever. 

You don't want the tenant hitting you up for a new one or the cost of all the food they lost, so be sure to list that part out if you are not sure.
