Removing grease from vinyl plank floors

Does anyone have any ideas for effectively removing cooking grease and grime from vinyl plank flooring? Most of the first level of the house feels like the floor of a movie theater (kinda sticky but slippery at the same time). I worry that some of the commercial grade cleaners may damage the vinyl. From the feel of the floor and countertops, I’m pretty sure the tenants cooked fried chicken every day for 2 years.

Whatever you use, try it on a small spot that isn't visible first like the inside of a closet.
