I would still only install one if the costs of extra vacancy/decreased rent is greater than the cost of the dishwasher and maintenence.Also, make sure you or the plumber incorporate the drain from the dishwasher into the sink traps correctly.

I know people who have done this only to find that the pissed-off homeowners (at the bank) last horrah was to destroy the house including pouring cement down drains, stealing stives, cutting up the trusses/joists with a power saw, stealing the copper from the electrical, dumping horse crap in the house, etc.

What this means is the basement floor is lower than the City sewer main, so cannot drain by gravity.

@Jay Hinrichs I got you, I agree with you - C class for a lot of investors could be cash flow draining, my 11 unit C class purchase was very rough in Michigan.
