So far I like what I've heard on podcasts about these build-to-rent properties and would love to hear from anyone who has dealt with them and their FL properties.

Then, talk with a local builder on options of build.

Then, in two years, you can go out and buy another primary house renting out the entire previous house and keep doing that to build your portfolio.Smart!

Again, you're building an image, it shows you care and your quick to act while allowing you to learn more about them. 

I am asking about a real estate portfolio specifically, not your overall portfolio that may consists of stocks and/or bonds.Do you build your RE portfolio based on a predetermined percentage of each asset class (ex. 50% residential properties 50% passive funds)?
