Eventually, I would like to get into fix and flip, buy and hold, and land development so that I can pretty much kick back on a beach with a drink in my hand as I watch my son play in the sand, lol.

I have three projects going there currently. other good counties include: Pinellas, Sarasota, Orange, Lee, Duval, Palm Beach, Okaloosa, Broward, Hillsborough, and Okeechobee.

Some hurricanes are devastating, others do minor damage.Has anyone marketed to owners of second homes, beach houses, following hurricanes to see if there is motivation to sell?

I've been looking at some duplexes/triplexes near Corona, CA and the closest affordable duplex/triplex I can find are located in Long Beach, CA.

But they're all in a beach community where everyone wants to live so folks don't mess around with not paying rent or reasonable taking care of the MH.

On the more human side- we love to fish, grill out with our family on our lake, and go to the beach in an attempt to turn off our brains!

Got back from VA Beach vacation with family a couple weeks ago and we didn't want to come back!

@John Thedford  by all means internet utube webinars podcasts.. all of those have created irrational exuberance and thoughts of grandeur.In our day we had Dave Del Dotto on the beach in Hawaii with two Bikini clad babes on each side of him.. and Robert Allen !!

It is dicey being that far away but we purchased a property in Jacksonville Beach several years ago, we were in California, and to tell you the truth I have never been in one side and only seen the property a few times.It is a hard question not knowing more about your situation.
