Building from the ground up

Hey guys! I'm Brad. My interest in real estate investing started peaking a few months after I rented out my first home that my wife and I purchased in Charleston, SC. My wife, Elizabeth Schultz is a Realtor in Virginia Beach. I am originally from Milwaukee, WI and have been stationed in Charleston, SC and Norfolk VA. I am active duty military and I am just wondering where I start, such as legal advice, business advice and partnership advice. I'm looking to do low/no money down investments and possibly turnkey properties in any of the 3 places above. Any help or advice would be very much appreciated. Thanks for the welcome!

You may want to start in the place where are you stationed right now.  With wife in the business and you being right there it would be the easiest option while you are learning the ropes before expanding.  If you decide to go out of state and especially Milwaukee area, you do have a number of turn-key options, feel free to reach out any time.
