I see that others have mentioned a couple to a few hundred dollars.

The only problem is, if you are looking at it on an online exchange there are hundreds of other people looking at the same deal that are not as well educated and are willing to pay more for the note, even though in your opinion it is not worth it.

The same is true for lawyers, some kid out of law school doesn't command the same fee structure of a lawyer with 25 years of experience and a track record of hundreds of cases won in technical aspects of law.
