Buying real estate within your own retirement account is another option to a loan/withdrawal, as long as done within the rules of the tax code and you have a custodian for your self directed retirement account that will invest it that way for you.  

I extremely motivated about real estate investing and believe it's just matter of time to crack code to take the next step and do my first deal.

As an example a software "tech engineer" can write code for Google, Amazon, Tesla, Salesforce.com, airBnB, Uber or any other countless companies. 

But everything I'm reading says that it's code in a lot of places, and a really good idea, even if not required.

@Alvin LaRue Ive been wholesaling for two years and it may help to saturate very specific zip codes with your yellow letters and marketing attempts. 

I'm wondering about using the rule in 26 US Code 190 to expense, instead of capitalize, costs to improve accessibility, whether it's ramps, widening doorways, etc.

Even the tax code is not always black and white.I would lean towards advising you to go ahead and claim the expenses.
