I am a disabled veteran with a small amount of capitol and not much of an income to get anymore in the near future.

It could also matter to the tinkerer that wants a place to work on small projects and it doesn't look like there is anywhere to do that on this property.  

Keep posting and build relationships on here and I think you will find a small group of people that you connect with regularly.

If you are not happy where you are now, just look to where you started a year ago, or two years ago and realize how far you have come in a small amount of time. 

Keep in mind I am from a small town where property values average around $50,000 or so. 

We pay a small percentage of our income for 10 years, and at the end of the 10 year period, the balance is forgiven.

I am having a challenge finding a small bank or credit union to pull cash out of SFR investment properties which I own free & clear.

Inevitably the are looking "x" as the 20% downpayment or much small if they want to house hack.  

@Gail Greenberg I'm wondering, how can I invest relatively small amounts that I get as return from a turnkey into notes?

@Lindsey Iskierka with a commercial loan or portfolio loan, I'd imagine you'd be looking at minimum 5% interest rate, and with even small multifamily the "60%" can apply, so it sounds like negative cash flow of around $1500/mo.
