As you said, it can be extremely tough to view a property during the pandemic, especially with occupied units with tenants whom are uncomfortable allowing strangers to walk through. 

I used to advertise the property before the move out but then everyone wants to see it then, and I don't want to show the property while it's still occupied, the old tenants don't really need the added chaos of having strangers visiting, and if I found something major after the move out that require more time to address, I have to get into a mad rush to get it ready. 

And, you still insist on doing business with a stranger?

I don't think their fear of bringing strangers into their home is unfounded.

So many of the complaints and flat out scams on this board and elsewhere are from those who insist on doing business anonymously with strangers they met on the web.

I'm curious how you find several strangers who want to live together in the same home.

I am no stranger to having unanswered questions on here so I completely understand.

I still don't recommend it when giving general advice to a stranger on an open forum.

She doesn’t mind sharing walls with strangers, just not rooms.I’ve entertained the idea of leveraging a HELOC but I don’t think I can get enough out of it to fund the 2/1 to 3/2 renovation on both sides which is really what makes all this possible.

Why start by trying to get money from a stranger?
