I have a feeling you are right in saying it's spam.

It could be going to spam, they could be lying, who knows, but it can add time and frustrating to the process for both.

The copy should also pass the spam filter and entice people to view the material and sign up4.

I understand the need to get advertiser targeting members, but it only work if the targeting is done very narrowly.For instance, I wouldn't mine to get info about very specific area of my investment, whether it be the type of investment or geographically, but anything outside that scope would shut me down and would be ineffective since it would go straight to my spam box...
