I lived in Ottawa when I was your age-many fond memories! 

Anyone out there particularly fond of buying notes on houses that are vacant?

@Ciara Quam my wife and I got married on the east side of Kapalua Bay in 2007, so we are particularly fond of the Napili/ Kapalua area.  

We aren't fond of either.

Have fond memories visiting the Great Smoky Mountains as a kid and always wanted to invest there, esp after seeing the success of investors like @Tony Robinson and others.

Hello all,I am a solar sales rep by trade but have been fond of real estate investing for years.I recently went out prospecting and found a VERY dilapidated home that needs a complete gut/remodel.

There is another one that meets in the evenings in Temple and is a little bigger.There are a lot of multi-families in the area and it is a great strategy that I am very fond of, but you still need to be careful about the building you buy.

I work for an exterior remodeler as well (siding, windows, roofs, gutters, etc.) out of Fond du Lac.
