I installed granite counter tops in the kitchen, installed a new backsplash, painted the cabinets, added a butcher block counter top in the pantry closet, painted the interior, retiled the bathroom floor and surround for the tub and added a new vanity.

We are in a very nice area and this is a luxury home.I am planning on making this floor the master suite with a large bedroom, large bathroom and walk in closet; leaving the smaller 3 bedrooms downstairs.My question is regarding the size of the master suite; what size is too big?

Turned it into a 3 bed 2 bath by knocking out a closet and tapping into existing plumbing.

That's right, nothing says complete waste of money more than a concrete floor bedroom and standalone makeshift closet.

- Replaced the front facade- Added a half bath downstairs (not typical for a bath on first floor of PHL homes)- Complete renovation of kitchen- Brand new HVAC throughout house- Semi-finished basement with sealed floors and painted floor joists- Added closets to second and third bedroom

They called me at 8 at night, we got ahold of insurance because it had flooded the whole bedroom, closet, some of the kitchenette, and bathroom.

However for the main bathroom(s) I feel they lack the storage space I desire, so I'd use a full size vanity unless you have a lot of extra storage throughout, closets, cabinets, cubbies, shelves, etc.)Tile: Subway tile is still in, but perhaps try using a larger option, like a 4 x 16 tile.

You have a depot in the larger town where they take their items to portable storage units and then you haul to your storage location.Why would they go to small town USA 20 miles away?   

Much like hiring a moving company to clean out a closet.
