As with the US some provinces are tenant friendly some are not.

I know that the province is experiencing a down turn but if I'm not mistaken Calgary is still seeing a fair positive population growth.

Be aware of some of the differences between the provinces. 

In the long run, most liberal city would allow any kind of drugs, legalizing weed is old school now lol , in a Canada province they are already decriminalized fentanyl and cocaineThere is bias that gov. going to decriminalized drugs and what is perceived as criminal action (such as in CA) LOL

Who invests in the beautiful province of Ontario from a distance?

Would love some feedback on acquiring out of province properties.

There were only a single handful of us in those days and nothing on the site addressed Canada.These days there is a whole set of Canadian forums (one for each province/territory and a national forum).The BP calculators can be loosely applied to real estate in Canada, the financing will be slightly different here, but the results are close enough for initial triage.There have been a few Canadian properties listed in the Marketplace.The existing set of "Pro-perks" are almost exclusively U.S.A. oriented at this point.  

@Michael Mendez each state, and province (Canadian Nurses are highly recruited by US hospitals) has its own professional licensing college for nurses.

I believe the laws in the states are different here and might differ province to province but when you go to the bank, having rental income will help you get your financing.
