I bought my first home while living in East Tennessee in 2021.

Read below for my remaining notes from the Single Family Rental Forum (East) that are specific to build-for-rent!

Hi everyone, we currently moved from WNY and live in a 2nd floor apartment of a 3 unit multi-family house on the east side of Providence (near Hope Village).

East Cleveland will IMO be unrecognizable along the Euclid corridor in 5, 8 years.

I'm looking to expand in the Ohio area, but would like to get a little more insight on the demographics from local investors.CHi Christian, Columbus has a lot of up and coming areas like Old Town East that would currently be considered a C but are rapidly changing for the better.   

Today these houses are valued at $700K- $1MM (original home structures).I'm looking to do something similar, but the East Coast has obviously appreciated significantly since.

While multi family and new built luxury high rises might be going down it does not appear to affect more desirable properties that offer more space, amenities, better locations.I am in South East in a desirable area.What is your take on rental outlook?

There is significant noise pollution on the entire property but also has fantastic mountain views and mature trees in east Asheville and by a major commercial zone.

I thought about Okemos, East Lansing, Lansing, tecumseh, belleville and a few other areas in these direction before but there isn't enough places to look at and when searching toledo, there seems to be something new every week which is why I thought of going there. 

Lot of good house in east side of the bay is setup for a good house hack and it is still way affordable for Bay Area standard lol
