In my mind, Portland has many similar advantages to San Francisco - geographic constraints to spreading (rivers, mountains), difficult development requirements, a young workforce and better than national average population growth projections, and a "coolness" factor with tech workers and millennials that one can't simply create by declaring oneself a tech hub. 

Is there an independent path to educate oneself and still be successful?

My goals are very high for Real Estate, because I believe in always having very big goals set for oneself, that way you're always striving to achieve it and be bigger and better.

Im a new to real estate and have a goal to complete one self generated lead by the end of the year!

They have another word(s) for doing a short sale to oneself...

Nothing stops you from visiting the registry oneself and ordering copies or looking at the documents though.I pull all they infor together and create the HUD or now the TRID or whatever they are calling it.

It's always great to know people who share the same mindset than oneself.

Learning by itself does not make one wise, but acting upon the information we learn for the benefit of oneself and to humanity is wisdom.

It takes time, experience and a lot of effort that comes MOSTLY from within oneself.  

what i just noticed is that both statutes don't even mention ownership of the property. what they say is if someone is doing this for another or for oneself. if somone is brokering then either the broker asked the seller to sell their property or vise versa.
