Driving For Dollars In Arizona $$$ Tips?

Im a new to real estate and have a goal to complete one self generated lead by the end of the year! I want to begin to drive for dollars here in Arizona, and was wondering if anyone had any tips or recommendations before I begin? I have the concept down, but would like some direction as to how to map my area and locate the best areas to drive before really going out and driving..... please help!
