I have a few friends investing in the Maritimes and they have prices like what you would find in the US - e.g.

I am looking to get started in RE, but i work in the maritime industry and some contracts can have me traveling abroad for up to 11 months at a time.I am curious about doing a FHA owner-occupied loan for my first property but was wondering that if I am gone for such a long time aboard a ship would that cause an issue that could be viewed as fraud?

Account Closed  - in the oldest and most established parts of the country ;-)  It doesn't always pay to think of TO as the centre of things :-PA little more seriously ... we invest predominately in the Maritimes.

I have multiple properties in the Maritimes, and I'd be interested to hear your thoughts on Canadian east coast markets.
