New investor from Massachusetts

Hello all, I'm from Cape Cod, Mass and am looking to get a start in real estate investing. I just graduated college and I'm looking for a mentor or someone that could give me some guidance while getting started. I have no background besides reading and information here on BP. I'd like to create passive income with buy and holds, and eventually get into larger multifamilies. If someone could point me in the direction of finding a mentor in the Boston area that would be much appreciated. Thanks, Matt

Hi @Matthew Cassanelli

Welcome! If you are looking for buy and holds, where are you looking for multi's? I am looking in the Worcester county and now looking off market for a deal. First step is how are you going to find your deals? MLS, direct mail, bandit signs, craigslist, networking etc..
