Often(but not always) these neglected homes are owned by an elderly individual in an assisted care facility.

Situation: Years ago the owner of a property worth $1M and an elderly property owner placed a REVERSE MORTGAGE on their property which when funded allowed her to stay in her home and receive distributions from the lender up to a MAXIMUM sum of $700K. 

I prefer elderly.

This is an elderly Asian couple and the daughter did most of the talking/interpreting.

Also I would be concerned of being predatory especially if the borrower is elderly.

One was an elderly couple, the other was a single man with a decent job, just not enough to keep up with bills. 

And these administrations are full of elders since younger people are too lazy or afraid of responsibility.  

For example, many elderly individuals purchase condos in Florida to retire.

Since "Retirement Communities" are really nothing but Boarding Houses for the elderly, and we can see what Covid 19 is doing in the Retirement Communities, do we really need to learn this lesson all over again?
